CN Real=...

Journal Entry: Wed Jun 24, 2009, 12:07 AM

Ok so its time for a little talking about whats on my mind
Now out of the 3 big cartoon channels
Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney
I want to tell you all my current stance on them
Now remember this is my opinion
I love Nickelodeon and I have since I was a kid
I think its the best of the 3 channels right now
*Also I have plans for some new pics from old Nick shows too*
CN is a great channel that can really piss you off to
They had some of the best cartoons ever
Samurai Jack, PPG, Dexter, Johnny Bravo, and more
But they discontinued it
But they still have good shows like
Chowder TDI/TDA and 50% of Adult Swim
But their live action shows are horrid and it makes me want to kill the first living thing I see
Disney as a channel is my least favorite
I mean I dont like their cartoons or their live shows
Between those damn twins, the jonas brothers, and that chick who shows too much gums when she smiles *Hannah Montana* it drives me up a wall
but... I still love their movies
*still havent seen Wall-E though*

While the classics were crucial to CN, what I miss the most are the classic classics, like the Flinstones, Jetsons, Looney Toons and all those great hits. Hell, Teen titans and the 2004 -2006 pahse of CN had me in high hopes for the network, but as you stated and it is obvious, this CN Real shit won't fly.

I live in GA and I know where Turner Broadcasting is *grabs a torch* Who wants to start an angry mob?

Nick is decent now, but I find myself watching Nicktoons Network more because I can't stomach their live action crap like iCarly and True Jackson...

CN has (had) hope... but honestly they're not doing well with their CN Real stuff. I mean, it's CARTOON Network, they should stick to what they do best. I mean, look at the last live action show they had, it did horribly!

I don't watch Disney anymore, when I couldn't stand the Suite Life On Deck, I knew there was no point in watching that station anymore. Disney has really just gone downhill with their channel. However, I do still like the movies that aren't about teenagers (High School Musical).

In short, I agree with you.

If you don't like one side of me, talk to another. You're bound to find one you do like (or can at least tolerate).

You should go see Wall-e. Pixar is actually my favorite branch of Disney right now, and I haven't seen a bad movie from them yet. Even this new one, UP, was a great movie with meaning for all ages. Unfortunately Disney channel is a complete flub, out of the whole bunch there's not a single show that has a touch of what Disney used to be all about.

Haven't watched CN in a while, but it did have Toonami, which was filled with good anime like ruroni kenshin, and Megas XLR. Not to mention they did a whole month full of showing Hayao Miyazaki's movies which was wholesome, meaningful entertainment. I can't believe they actually are doing live shows, that's so wrong for the cartoon network to be doing live action.

Nic. has always been good, I can only fault them fro canceling Invader Zim.

Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Lab didn't even get a final episode, they just stopped making them. I understand that every now and again a show has to end, but shouldn't it get a proper send off.
:iconwhite-shinobi:
I miss the old toonami.
